“Iconoclastic and openly emotional, Henry Mansfield is the real deal.”
BIO
Henry Mansfield makes music you can dance and cry to at the same time. Blending soaring pop hooks with emotionally literate storytelling, his Postal-Service-meets-Hold-Steady queer anthems explore the grief, joy, and absurdity of modern connection over dazzling piano, horns and synths. His live show has earned a reputation as a theatrical and communal experience, landing slots at Treefort, Capitol Hill Block Party and NW TuneUp. After releasing NOTHING BUT THE MYTHS WE MAKE in 2023, called by Dan's Tunes "one of the best Seattle albums I've heard in years," Mansfield released BEND YOUR KNEES in 2026, accompanied by an NPR Tiny Desk submission featuring the entire band on rollerskates. In 2026, he won the Doc Swinson's Opening Act Contest out of more than 200 Washington bands. He has been featured on NPR, FOX 13, and KING 5 Seattle.
